Any free script for ebook management

    Is there any script that will allow people that buy from me an ebook and pay me through paypal to have a user/pass generated in order to let them download the ebooks they have purchased?

    I went searching for something like that two weekends ago. Pretty much looked at everthing listed at hotscripts.

    This site, http://www.dinkumsoft.com/dsd/dlpaycart.php has 3 different products for sale. The IPN3 is the most secure of them all and does exactly what you said you wanted. The paycart is the easiest to set up.

    The site owner was kind enough to exchange a few emails and answer my questions so this is a free plug for him.

    The newest version of cubeCart will also do what you want for free if you leave the backlink. But that is a lot of work to set up.

    I guess that would depend on what you have to sell.:)

    I did go ahead and buy the paycart one. Very simple to set up on the server.

    The template files are in folders so modding an existing template looks fairly simple. If you copy one over and change the name it shows up as a diffrent theme in the control. If you have ever skinned anything you should be able to skin this with no problems.

    Personally I am just going to create a logo and change a little of the text and have at it.
