Any free recommended web host allow using my domain ?

    I want to build a small website and looking to a good free host
    where I can use my own domain , not a sub-domain .
    I found some hosts , but
    Do you recommend one ?

    They are owned by Hewlett Packard and so are a reputable company.

    Try doteasy.com - I believe you have to register the domain through them though, but then all the rest is free. I used to use them about 3 years ago, couldn't complain. Moved only cause needed much more features, their feature set it pretty limited.

    I hate to recommend Blogger, but if you can build your site around a blog, then their hosted blogs aren't too bad. You can easily set it up so that you use their blog/host service under your own domain. And unlike many of the free hosts, they'll still be there tomorrow.

    Zymic.com is pretty good from as i have been told. Cant say with much experience tho as i am no need of free hosts. Well i would check them out anyway

    As danjake said. Byet host is one of the best. They allow .htaccess and 300mb webspace and sufficient BW. I use it. Also recommend it. get it from here
