    If you are going to use snitz please make sure to apply the security patches. In Dec. 2007 there was a big SQL injection problem published with snitz.
    Anyhow before going live just go through and patch the items listed at:

    I have also used YetAnotherForum it is in MSSQL ASP.NET. It is a good forum.
