I am looking for free tools that work like Aweber and GetResponse. Anyone knows any free tools?

    Thanks.

See there are free tools like phplist and all, but if you use these then you will set yourself for a failure. Aweber and GetResponse have the best delivery rate in industry. So, I will recommend you to go either one of these.

^^ I agree, plus AWeber is only $1.00 for the first month! How could you go wrong with that...

Try contactpro.com They are half the price of aweber and getresponse. For example,

    Aweber contactpro
    0 - 500 $19 101 - 500 $9
    2,501 - 5,000 $49 501 - 5,000 $19

mailchimp.com have a free service if you are just starting out with a list of less than 100.

They are reliable and solid too but they can be odd in what they let their services used for, apparently no aff marketing, work from home / make money online businesses which is very wierd.

Does anyone know a good one that can be paid by paypal? Aweber and getresponse don't have this option...

^^ Simple fix: Generate a virtual CC via PayPal and use that. They don't need to have PayPal as an option to pay with your PayPal acct.

Is it legal to just create your own list and not have software? It would be more tedious, but it would be free and really wouldn't get caught in spam folders.

You can't make money online if you're not willing to spend a few bucks. At least when it comes to online marketing.
