Does it help to include tools/buttons like StumbleThis, Reddit, Digg and so on next to your blog posts? Will it increase the chance of people actually submitting them to social websites? I have a StumbleThis button next to my posts, but I haven't seen any increased traffic from StumbleUpon (that might be my own fault, but I really don't know). And what about social bookmarking services like social marker, does a button like that help at all? The reason that I am asking is that from my experience it seems that the only thing that really works when it comes to services like StumbleUpon, Reddit and Digg (and so on) is if you are "very" active in the community (and of course, it helps if you have great content as well). But that buttons on your website is not that helpful. Do you have any experience with this? Thanks Jens
