.. Hi guys, I am new here as you can probably tell. I am looking for information/experiences on Pool.com. I recently signed up for an account with them because I was led to their site with a whois search of a domain name I was interested in. The whois Registrar came back with http://www.availabledomains.ca I followed the site to be greeted with NameScout.com a subsidiary of Pool.com. The name I was interested in was up for Dutch auction(blah blah). I suckered into the deal because I wanted the name and bought it for 60 dollars. Was invoiced and Such by Pool.com saying I won the name (Great!), but do I really own the name as the whois has not changed and I have no control on the domain name as it stands. This is silly. Customer service is sorely lacking. DNS all points to their servers still and they will not answer emails at all except for some auto reply manufactured when you submit them an email saying you will receive a response in 24 hours (Which you don't, and still haven't after 3-4 emails). I can not control a name I bought. Anyone have any insight on this or had a similar experience? Advise?? Thanks in advance
Hi, I bought over 300 domains from Pool, nothing to worry about, domain will be in your namescout account in next 24 hours(weekend),support is slow but always good.
