Any experience with Intabill?

    Has anyone used them successfully?

I don't like their $50 chargeback fee, it's pretty hard to avoid chargebacks when you're selling online and people use stolen credit cards, etc.

Not I, I honestly hadn't even heard of them until they bought that sitepoint banner.

Haha, that's how I found them...

It seems no one else has heard of them either, as I've got zero replies.

I'm tempted to cross-post this thread on a few other webmaster forums and see if ANYONE is using them.

Intabill does a lot of high-risk processing. They are one of the largest merchant providors around.

However, Intabill went offline two weeks ago, and lost their arrangement with their banks. So they are dead in the water. Someone from our company did a little investigating, and even intabill can't say when they are going to be back online.

We're getting new processing. Any recommendations for an ex-intabiller?

That's interesting, I wonder why they took the sitepoint ad if they can't process.

Do you need another high risk provider JVC? If so I recommend looking into CCBill. They've been around like 12 years now and have never had a service outage like the one you described with intabill.

    Well, thanks.

Yes, we are getting a new high risk provider. We applied to two, got accepted to two, but unfortunately there are just so many other companies out there, that I just don't know who is reputable or not, who is an agent, who is the actual processor.. So really this is just taking an extreme amount of time in google looking through a mass of opinions and comments regarding all these processors.

But let me say that we were paying close to 5.5% with Intabill for our processing, plus some 50 odd cents per transaction.. which was alright for a new higher risk merchant (less than a year). We'll get approximately the same at other places as well.

CCbill might have been around for 12 years, but 14.5% fee is crazy. Any other suggestions?

I'm not very familiar with any other high risk processors. To be honest, that fee is the cost of reliability, high risk processors come and ago constantly, they're always doing something to lose there merchant accounts or lose the ability to process Visa. If you go with 5.5% again you'll probably be dealing with the processor hunt all over again next year.
