    DHGate.com is merely a broker for a lot of sellers in China. If you have problems with a seller, you're pretty much on your own.

    I recently bought a new cell phone thru them. I received an older, used non-functional cell phone. I contected DHGate, who said to talk to the seller. The seller said return the phone for a substitution. I did, but the seller then refused to send a new one, saying it was "the same as in the picture"(?). I complained to DHGate. They said, basically, "prove it!" or deal with the seller. Of course, there's no way to prove the device not functional if the seller doesn't cooperate and DHGate doesn't intervene.

    DHGate?....You have a better chance of catching a rainbow than to find a person that sells "REAL" anything! It's all crap and you will only get burnt in the end if you try to sell stuff from them...Talking from experience...Stay away!...Everything is fake!...the site should be shut down...It's a gateway for crooks!

    I just bought 10 iPod Nanos from this seller (adolph5168) on DHGate. I decided to put them for sale immediately since things never sell right away. I figured my order would arrive before I sold anything. Well, they're almost all sold and I'm soooo worried that the iPods will be really cheap! Has anyone bought Nanos from this seller on DHGate? Some YouTube videos are scary! I don't want to get iPods like that! :confused: Please help!

    DHGate.com is just gateway but protect sellers not buyers.
    So seller can lie on description what they are selling and do not have any obligation for it.
    DHGate.com solution is to return back, what about shipping cost.
    Someone sad they are just a gateway, I agree but also protect liars, any dispute will and with profit for sellers and buyer did not get what he was expecting , in my case cell phone is not phone, I do not what it is.

    Do not buy from them RIP OFF

    I always got my products from Dhgate even though they were late (at least i got them) the only problem i found with all the products I bought from the sellers there was that the products were fake, (at least i got something) lol

    I was told by my suppliers that DHgate is mostly protecting on behalf of the buyer's benefit, especially for the virutal proudcts like iTune card. Almost all sellers have to wait for 6 months for their payment even if buyers have confirmed they had received the itune account and everything is fine with the iTune account.

    Taking 6 months to release the payment, can you imagine that??!!

    Ive used dhgate multiple times, and I have always been satisfied. The only problem is you have to watch who you buy from, the reviews are always a good start.
