Any experience with Buy.At?

    Hi all,

I'm new with ads and affiliate programs so I thought i should check with you guys about what I should do.

This is my second month with Buy.At, and have had 86 transactions now from play.com. It's not much money we've earned, about £60, but we're getting more and more clicks now so I'm not going to waste more time if they don't start confirm the transactions soon.

The problem is that every transaction says: "unconfirmed transactions - the retailer still has to review and authorise these"

Was thinking of going away from play anyway since they only gives 2% (or is this a normal rate?).

And as it wasn't bad enough we only get £60 for our £3000 lead sales to them, they won't even verify them.

I just have a feeling that play.com will never verify anything and was wondering if you had any prior experience with them or Buy.at.

Our other option is to try to get real advertisers.
I was wondering if you think any advertisers will be interested (we're a gaming site/forum) with the current stats for this month:

    Google PR: 4

    Unique visitors: 90513
    Number of visits: 233 982
    Pages: 2 321 399
    Hits: 35 468 886
    Bandwidth: 126.66 GB

    Thank you.

I have just joined them, have you contacted buy.at team and asked them? Remember they are losing out on commission too

but you could try mixing up play with some other companies?

We have also generated clicks now from two more affiliates with buy.at, and noone seems to get verified...

I sent them a mail where they said "we usually respond within 24 hours" on the webpages, but it has gone several days now. And their number is from the uk i think (dialing code +44), so it's too expensive to call. Guess I'll give them some days before moving somewhere else.

2% is not a normal rate.

I would never work to earn only 20p on the sale of a £10 product.

I would encourage you to find retailers who pay more commisson.

I have been with Buy.at for about 3 years. It is a UK network. I have been paid with them also. Buy.at is not the best UK network, but they do pay and have a few good merchants.

It also happens to me where it takes them a long time before they validate any sales. I have never earn't from Play.com, but have sold products for many other merchants and it always takes about 1 or 2 months before transactions are validated.
