Any Experience Running/using Wikis? How To Display Images?

So all my experience is with WordPress and I've moved on to learning about Wikis.

It's a little above my pay grade right now. I can't even display an image on the page. I've uploaded the file, I just want it centered with no borders on my home page as kind've a 'cover,' but nothing I do will display it.

Can anyone help? It's at sapient.me if so, I'd super appreciate it.

It's my own Wiki I just started. I was clueless and thought there would be an 'admin' type backend, rather than editing php and stuff directly to change things like a logo, LOL. But I'll get there. I'm just stumbling on the little things in the beginning, and all the help sections just aren't helping. [[file: commands and all that are totally new to me and I just want to show an image!

    Thank you! [IMG]

That's Wordpress. If you want a wiki, why don't you use wiki software?

As far as how you put a picture on a wiki, it depends on the wiki. Each one has its own methods. To do it in Wordpress, edit the post and add a picture - upload the picture and use the img button in the post editor.

Yeah, I know it's WordPress. I got impatient with the MediaWiki software so I switched back to something I'm comfortable with. Still would like to use a Wiki but it's not as admin/user friendly as I thought.
