    I am not a very experienced in this area, but would not you be better off finding your own blogs to guest post on? When you send a guest post on a blog which has dozens of other authors as well, you are less likely to benefit from it as they do not have such an involved reader base, and even the seo effect will be smaller as the blog is linking to a big list of other sites on a regular basis - eg. it could be seen as a link farm.
