I signed up as dmoz editor for a category and I got email they have that category covered well. Well lots of non-existent websites there and my website is not approved and I think it is good reference for topic....but nooo goooo Its like you say I have good mechanic but my car is broken all the time...but my mechanic is very good yes ...
They have all the categories covered so well that they keep removing editors... Ministry of Truth must be working over time... DMOZ has all categories covered well, there is no backlog at DMOZ, there was never a crash at DMOZ, it was act of sabotage by The Brotherhood.

Ok, here is what i see. This is probably too big and too active of a cat for a new editor. Remember you have to include the 8 sub categories. There are issues with that cat that a new editor would have problems with just starting out. If you go higher up the chain you can see who the editors are that constantly maintaining those cats. Try to pick a category closer to 50 listings that you can easily find sites on your own to add and be sure state any listings in the cat that do no comply with the guidelines; i.e. title, description, dead links, etc. Also mention any sub categories that can be created. You need to show at least 3 listings that can fit that sub cat. Last, it makes a big difference if you are editing in an English cat that you use proper grammar in your application. Be sure to try again, it often takes 3 or more tries. Good luck.
