Just wondering if any of you directory owners accept subdomains for free? ie classifieds.norcalcars.com

I have the norcalcars site listed in several hundred directories, but the seach engines view a subdomain to be a separate domain as far a back links ect.

List your directory in this thread if you do.

    Thanks

    I've noticed. :)
Why is that though? It appears the search engines look at theses as two separate domains.

You can deep link up to 3 keywords in the description field for your listing. Make sure to follow instructions when submitting. Yeah, it is free.

    That's cool! I haven't seen that before.

I tried adding a link but the description turned out wrong this was my description.
Browse the online selection of used cars by dealer or visit our free <a href="http://classifieds.norcalcars.com/">Private Sellers Classifieds</a> to view non-dealer ads, all on one site.

Please follow instructions in regards to using single quotes. I think the script developers are fixing the double quote problem. Feel free to resubmit again.

Got it. Thanks! I didn't notice that the quotes were single in your example. Sorry bout that. Yah your scripters can just add a replace " with ' in the script when you grab the text and that should take care of it.

That is a very good feature, I'm sure your directory will be very popular with the SEO guys once they find it.:)

A majority of submitters only know roboform submit, it is kind of out of their element even to stop and read instructions and such. But we'll see if this feature catches on.
