Does anyone know of any directories (free or paid) that will accept Squidoo lenses?

Also I am looking for sites (not forums) that allow anyone to basically post any kind of link. Does anyone know of any?

    Thank you

I do not know of any, that is one of the reason I do not use Squidoo because it is a trailing page instead of a sub domain. I use to have the same problem with the Geocites pages. I hear they are ok to give you links back to your main sites but I do not know how you would build good back links to them.

http://www.squidoo.com/dalai-lama/ for example. Squidoo lets you create your own page on any subject you choose and then makes it easy to make money off it - though of course you have to drive the traffic to it...

Why don't you get direct links to your main site (ofcourse if its not on illegal topic:eek: -- but even if its on illegal topic -then directories that accept subpages won't list you.).

First you must get your Squido page up--directory owners must know the content on the page to give links to you:rolleyes:

My main purpose in creating the Squidoo lens is to get a good direct link to my main site. The main site already has hundreds of direct links, but a link from a specially-made Squidoo lens would be a lot better than an ordinary link because I can make it highly relevant. That's the whole point.
