What if you lie them that you're from other countries? and use other country's address, will they still asking for ur ssn?
I don't think there is much to worry about in giving out your SSN, eventually you will have to if you are wanting to make a good amount of money. You can always sign up for lifelock, I mean the guy did post his SSN for the world to see, although I think I read somewhere that his SSN still got stolen or something. So much for that.
