It's been ages since my last game (LAN or Net or even Bots for that matter LOL!) I used to be a CS nut in my High School and College days and played for like 4-5 hours on LAN and spent another 2-3 online. Miss those moments :'( Any of you still in touch with the game?
Here I am! Still playing CS 1.6. It is simple and amazing. Valve developes CS:GO at the moment and it has in-game shop that is not for CS at all. I am not an oldfag but there is something in this Half Life DM mode that keeps me playing this game until very now.
Same here @RichardGB CS 1.6 is amazing. Thanks @GodsOwnWriter for remind it again. Because of this game, my college room was converted into Play Ground.
Reminds me of my college e-lab! Sounds fun! Guess I'll just have to start gaming again, just for old time's sake.
Avid CS:GO Player here. We also used to play CS1,6 through the night a few years ago, the transition to CS:GO is easy, but the menu interface takes some getting used to. We used to create games on our LAN and play together as friends, but now when we try and play over the internet it's a bit more difficult. We've been struggling with latency. One of our friends works in the UAE and whenever he's on a "private game" the latency from his side shoots up to 800ms or so. We've tried joining an existing server or game but it seems like the players are pooled geographically, so he cant get in. Any ideas on how to overcome this problem?
Holly crap I was so good in CS before 12-14 years. Never played since 13-14 years but am sure am still good Btw. in my times there was no cheats now uses everyone those things so its not intresting anymore.
I played 1500 hours in cs-go and now I regret about the time spent. Well, by the way about cheaters. There are too many of them for one game.
