Any comments on QuickBook integration?

My company is currently using Platypus, but is considering a move to Optigold ISP. We've been using QuickBooks for years and just purchased QuickBooks Enterprise 2006 Professional Services Edition.

Since Platypus doesn't integrate with Quickbooks, our financial folks have to create a QuickBooks Invoice (duplicating the Platypus invoice), credit the payment in QuickBooks when the money comes in, then credit the payment again in Platypus (unless the client paid Platypus online).

How well does this work with Optigold ISP and QuickBooks?

The integration is not bidirectional (it does not bring in anything that was done in QuickBooks). I'm curious why you aren't posting payments directly in Optigold (or Platypus in your case)?

Platypus will dump a lump sum into QuickBooks, but you can't apply payments to specific accounts. If our folks could enter payments into Optigold and bring those payments over into QuickBooks Enterprise 2006, especially if it were automated so they didn't have to manually associate payments with open invoices, it would be a major motivation to make the change!

Optigold ISP will bring individual invoices (with line items) as well as individual payments over. The best thing to do would be to download the trial version and just try it out and see if it does exactly what you want. :)

Ummm. This is sounding good. Thanks for the information, Shawn. That's what I was looking for.

Will be downloading and testing next week. :)
