Any CMS that lacks templates?

I would like to design a template for a CMS that has not too much templates yet, so that I could gain lots of downloads (as I will place my link into the footer of the template).

Any ideas? I'm doing Wordpress themes, but there are thousands of Wordpress themes, so that's quite tough.

You'd be welcome to make templates for the cms in my signature.
We'd even give you a fully rebranded copy you can give away to that would create free websites with your links in as well.

    Hi andrej,

The big complaint about Drupal is that it doesn't have enough themes and with the recent launch of version 6 there will be a lot of Drupalers updating their sites right now.

DZOIC Handshakes only has a few templates floating around ranging from $40 to $300. http://www.dzoic.com

Create a few of those and I'm sure you'll make a lot of new friends :)

I would not say that Drupal does not have good themes, but there is scarcity in choice when it comes to Drupal themes. One of the reason why this is the case, is that Drupal is quite flexible. Even though, it gives themers APIs like phpTemplate, the sheer variety of things you need to consider for themeing can be quite daunting task.

there are hardly any templates for article directories.

wordpress may have lot of templates, but it is used much more, compared to other CMS.
