I am thinking of getting into internet marketing (affiliates, bum marketing) full steam ahead and I was wondering if anyone had any success stories about this field that they would like to share and motivate me!
You can find that most of the members in this forum are doing well with clickbank. Just browse through the threads and you will understand that there is huge potential.
If you make sales worths $5k , be prepare for a refund amount of $1500 or less. Over hyped product has less refund rate. Clickbank is good to make money.
thats a lot of refunds. 1 of my products is less then 1%, .. which means for 5k sales only $50 would be refunded! (if my maths is as good as i think it is) my other product is ~2% - ~$100 loss over 5k sales
I once read that if you have a refund rate less than 3% then there is somthing wrong with your copy and you are leaving a lot of sales on the table
Ebooks generally have a high refund rate. But, there are some gems which I suppose over deliver for the price. I know too many so I guess it wouldn't hurt giving out one secret. Try this... http://www.howtobefunny.net/affiliate.htm - conversion is only about 4% but I have yet to get a refund from over $7000 sales.
I'm not doing to good. Made 0 Sales so far, but it's been my 4th day on clickbank.. How long does it usually take to generate a sale?
Twi$ted Everything depends on you Clickbank doesn't make sales for you, you have to do it for Clickbank I know a guy, who made a sale on the next day after he registered with Clickbank.....He wasn't really experienced though
I made a sale within the first hour i had clickbank I dont know how i did But on that point i though i will become a millionair but after that sale 1.5 months no sales and now a few days ago my second sale
The refund rate for many ebooks sold via Clickbank is going up lately. People just go for the information and then claim their 30 or 60 days money back guarantee. On your clickbank account you can find the email of every buyer, get in touch with each buyer and give them a personal support; its your money which will be refunded, so it is wise to do something for it.
I believe if it takes months to make a sale you are promoting the wrong product or you are improperly promoting that product. Selecting the right product is very crucial, try to choose one you are either familiar with or have actual experience with the issue it's trying to resolve. For example, if you have had an issue with your PS3 freezing, then promote one of the PS3 repair products since you can easily write your own articles on these fairly quickly. Also, health related products in which you suffered either the same condition or a similar one helps since you can pour your heart into the articles. One more thing, don't stretch yourself too thin by trying to promote too many products. I'm in this boat now and trying to cut back a bit.
I am actively promoting 5 products currently, previously promoted about 20, but I'm going to try to cut it down to only 3 in the next few weeks.
