I am planning to get the hell out of this horrible country. I will be leaving with a friend of mine, and he wants to go to the USA, but I would rather go to Canada. If you are Canadian, could you let me know how hard it is for a foregin guy to make a living in your country? I heard that you can enter as a businessman if you have certain amount of $ to invest, how much would we need? Any help and comments are apreciated, since every day here is a day wasted in my life.
I started a thread somewhere about moving to the US/Canada... Hang on... I'll find it. Here you go... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=3113&highlight=moving Hope it helps.

for me, mexico is still far more better place than my country when it comes to politics, corruption, and society But here if you earn few $ you can live a above average lifestyle.
I'm in the UK, and a friend of mine was offered $5 million to set up a creative agency in Canada and turned it down. Sigh. The haves and have nots eh.
I wasn't telling the whole story he has an agency here, he had a partner and he wanted to roll off to canada for the good snow and endless landscape, his partner said he couldn't run the UK agency without him cos he pussy, so they dissolved said partnership and Baz is still here with his chilly rainy UK agency and his Porsche dreaming of skidoos and eskimos. Tis good though, means we still get to drink big beer here. Having said that it ruins my north american holiday prospects
