I have started once again bodybuilding due to the lack of energy and stamina I have doing every day activities. I've always wanted to bodybuild, just never motivated until I talked with my fiancee and we are now planning on moving to Florida from Michigan so I am in desperate need of some muscle. lol - Robb
i just started recently again after 3 months....yesterday had a leg day...can barely walk now i have some weights at home too,so if i am too busy to go gym.. i just do something at home and do work in between sets and if you just dont feel like going and want to leave it for tomorrow - just asking yourself "WHAT WOULD ARNOLD DO" (no, i didnt mean to run off looking for roids now)
Oh yeah, leg day is pretty bad for most of us therefore, there are a few lifters don't do legs (once in a while) lol Long time ago, I've trained my calves and they splitted into 2parts ^_^ look just alike a heart Summer's coming around the corner and I need to get in shape so I can wear short + muscle t-shirt aha lol
I'm just trying to get back into training now, just got to get my new place sorted then i can commit myself 100%.
I took a few years off, been back to it for 4 months or so now... Hurt my back though doing shrugs and squats last week, but still lifting through the pain.. 8 sessions a week for me
I just started working out at the start of this month after stopping for 3 months. Before I don't do legs but now I usually do more of cardio and body definition workout.
From the age of 10 I complained of knee pains, but was told it was "growing pains" by family. Numerous visits to NHS docs would just give me anti-inflammatory pills, which weren't much good. So I just got on with it doing sports, weights, gymnastics, highland games, etc. After much grinding and locking of my kneecap they eventually gave me an x-ray and said that my patella was split. Had to wait a year for an op, but that didn't quite fix it. They had to shave the back of the kneecap of loose tissue 5 years ago, but they still grind. I was awake for the 2nd op. Just found out last December that my left leg is shorter than my right. Something the chiropractor didn't pick up on. It was an osteopath who then sent me along to a podiatrist. He thinks it was the delay in getting my knee seen to, that changed my leg length. Suffered from excruciating back pain for last 2 and a half years, and family now believe that it was "the weightlifting", nothing at all due to not getting treatment when my patella was split I'm pretty thin ATM, funny that I had a lot more muscle at age 15 than I do now.
I was around 110 pounds (at 178cm height) from last few years so started bodybuilding last year, now I have gained 20 pounds and am happy with myself. But now its getting difficult to find time to go to gym with such a busy routine so i workout in my own house. All that is needed is just few dumbbells and a bench.
