It's text-link-ads.com . I just installed it , is it good or bad ? Some one tried it ? I like it because it's simple .
TextLinkads has been around for quite some time now. Actually, this moneymaking site specifically this text link broker is a legit scheme to make some money online. Notwithstanding of its legitimacy, bloggers and website owners who ran an advert or selling links using TLA have been whipped by the Big G for doing so. Unfortunately, a lot of the publishers' PR have been busted because they're capitalizing on Google's juice.
Yes, there has been a big thing with google Removing peoples PR because of link sales etc. But nonetheless TLA is a good company, i used them myself on my early blogs.
It is not bad. They use to make me quite a bit of money but it has slowed down in the last few months. I still average about $12 a month on one of my blogs. Not much money but pays for my hosting.
TLA has been a manna from heaven before especially for people having a high PR sites. But now the biz is quite slow.
Yeah Google slapped the PR off of TLA. It does no good anymore. I put around $300 into it when it first popped up to test it out and it didn't do anything for me at all because they do not have any type of rules as far as where you put the text ads so many were putting them clear at the bottom of the page where you will get no click through. The PR did help somewhat but not as much as you would think it would as I had 3 PR 6 links going and the juice from those links was terrible. Now that google has slapped them it doesn't do a thing.
I used them over a year ago, probably closer to two years now. I advertised my site for 80.00 buck on the Washington Times. It bought me a footer link on their editorial pages. It worked out well for me because I run a commentary site and I got lots of targeted traffic. I did not do it for seo purposes, though I did get indexed fast and ranked well after using it. I ran the ad for three months and it gave my site a quick shot of people who started using my site on a regular basis. That to me is worth more than PR.
It's not good for serious bloggers but if you want to make a quick scratch from multiple sources, I think its acceptable for the time being.
