I know there are plenty of benefits that come with upgrading to the standard edition but is there any benefit from sticking with the starter edition?
I think It is not about advantage or disadvantage..it's all about usability & functionality. Starter Edition is usually useful for those advertisers who want to advertise a single product or service through a single campaign. it is a highly simplified version of AdWords that lets new users advertise a single product or service, using a one-page signup form. A Starter Edition account has no ad groups, rich ad formats, placement targeting, or other advanced features. On the other hand, Standard Edition is the more typical account, which includes multiple ad campaigns, ad formats, and all the features that AdWords can provide. It is better for advertisers who want to run multiple ad campaigns and who want greater flexibility.
There are lot more functions available in standard edition biggest is conversion tracking also it easy to play with each campaign, sub ad groups, multiple price adjustments.
hehe, some of you guys crack me up I know the standard edition is better. That's a no brainer. I'll try my question again. Does anyone know if the basic edition has any advantage over the standard edition. Yeah, you can run single campaigns in the starter edition but that's not an advantage is it? For instance, do you get more page impressions using a starter account or do Google go a little easy on you, or maybe Google don't investigate a starter account. These are all advantages OVER the standard edition. Do does anyone have any hard facts?
