i'm thinking about starting some online business. At this moment i have a bunch of good ideas, a good passive knowledge of basic SEO and money to buy a domain and quality hosting. As a journalism student i know how to wirte a good text, and i even think i'm good at writing text to sell something. Only problem is i am a fulltime student enjoying 'tijdskrediet'. This means i get 500 euro a month in order to study. Ofcourse this money is insufficient since renting an appartment costs almost 500 euro. Stupid thing is that the gouvernment forbids people who are on 'tijdskrediet' to work while they get this money. I did spend 5000 euro, that i saved up before, during the first year of my study, then worked during summerholidays and vacations, but now my money is almost finished. Since i am not allowed to work, and can't make a lot more then 500 euro a month by working during the weekends and in holidays i'm thinking about starting an online business without the fiscus's knowledge. I there's any belgians around here who know what i should do to avoid detection by the fiscus, plz let me know. ALso i would like to know wether it is legal to recieve payments from abroad, and how much i can recieve without having to proove the source of income And if someone is really smart here, anyone who knows how ebay powersellers tackle these issues? I might be wrong, but i think many of them don't pay any taxes either.
