Any background you just love?

I am looking for some nice backgrounds for a few of my sites. I am not interested in background sites, but in specific backgrounds. There must be one that is your favorite, one that you just love, or one that you once saw on a site and thought it was really good. Please point me to them, I'd rather have your suggestions than visiting some site with 10,000 backgrounds to choose from :D

For example, I don't know why, but I just love the background on this site

I know back in the nineties people would "borrow" other people's backgrounds, but these days everybody's so protective of their intellectual property. If someone here suggested some backgrounds, you run the risk of getting in trouble if you use them on your own site without permission.

Can't do anything about it. When a background doesn't contain any trademarks or company logos you cant do anything about it. I bet that site ripped it off too by the look of their terrible design skills.

Personally fryman, I hate that background. Really reminds of of AngelFire old websites.

I know you said you wanted a specific pattern, not a site - But I just had to mention this place...

    Lots of awesome designs there...

Sorry INV - you're wrong - copyright is inherant - it automatically resides with the designer regardless of wheter it has a copyright logo, trademark etc. If you drar something like a unique scribble on a notepad then copyright of that scribble is yours. End of.

    Proving it is another matter!

I was very well aware of that acctually. Thats why I said logos & trademarks because they identify the owner. In reality you wont have any case against fryman using that background. And this goes to any background patterns thats not a logo or a trademark of a company.
