Any Anime Fans?

    How many anime fans do we have here at DP?

    Also, what's your all-time favorite anime and why? (you can only choose one)

    It was difficult for me to decide among all of my favorites, but I finally chose "Kino's Journey", because it makes you think about the world around us. :)

    im not an avid anime fan but i do have a favorite of all time. and that is

    ghost fighter (yuyu hakushu) ;)

    Does the stuff on Adult Swim count? My brother bought me Ghost in the Shell for my birthday and I had no idea what to make of it. Shortly after I started watching TRIGUN and sorta got into it, then Cowboy Bepop, Witch Hunter Robin, etc.

    I can't get my friends to watch even one episode of any of these without them making fun of it. My dad won't watch anything animated period. He thinks everything animated is for kids.

    I liked full metal alchemist. I thought that was cool. Some of the anime they show on adult swim is too weird, inuyasha is okay sometimes but the chicks whine too much.

    since they moved futurama to 1030 i miss it all the time. I despise that aqua teen show and some of the others. they are soo stupid. its sad the people who draw that crap make money. especially 12 oz mouse - a 2 year old could draw better.

    Futurama isn't actually anime, since anime only refers to Japanese animations. :)

    Anyway, apart from what I chose, there are some good choices I'm seeing posted here -- like Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X), Hunter x Hunter, Slam Dunk, and Full Metal Alchemist -- I loved all those :D
