I haven't used it myself, but phpBay is only $39, I believe. And they have a 'lite' version that is free. It's a wordpress plug-in.

phpBay is great and you can mask all of the eBay affiliate links on your site too.

Have a look at "My eBay Script" at http://www.my-estore.net. It about the same price as BANS but may be a bit easier to use.

    Peace

There's always eBay's affiliate Kit that's free. Frankly what BANS and phpBay Pro buy you is a wrapper that simplifies the whole process. $100 is a lot for a script, granted, but with any reasonable amount of effort you can recoup that in the first month.

Other scripts (like the wonderful semio-logic, or the equally cool revolution wordpress theme) are even more expensive.

The eBay affiliate kit makes it so easy to create an affiliate store, I don't see why anyone would spend $100 on a script. Once you've built your first store just use it as a template for other stores..

for many, the idea of getting a store up quickly is worth the investment - it's simply an investment in your future.

I agree with the above, $97 is a bit much for a script... Also, agree with above. PHPbay is not for a beginner. They need to start with something more turnkey. In my opinion, it's easy for newbies to get all jazzed about the tech stuff they are learning and be distracted from the fact that the real lessons are in traffic, promotion and research. To me, it's better for them to try something turnkey and get right to the real challenges faster... This will be a quicker path to income..

Some say $97 is alittle pricey. IMHO it is worth more than that. The support is top notch and the software has paid many times over for me.

If you use it right, then $97 is a bargain. if you buy it and leave it on your computer hard disk, then it is not even worth a cent.
