Is there any other but simple way (beside Paypal) to transfer money?

    -or-

Can the name or address be restricted from sharing, during transfer money through Paypal.

One of my friend want to pay for article writing through Paypal but don't want to disclose his personal info like name, address etc. I don't know why but he wants it .

    Any idea?

Paypal is first choice for everyone (if their country support) as its widely accepted payment processor. After that one can go with Moneybookers or 2CO as alternative for paypal.

    DON.

There is no real alternative, Pay pal functions as well as reach far exceed that of the nearest competitors. I would hope to see a good alternative though.

Typically, most vendors would want your full particulars, ie name, mailing address and email address so as to be above board and to comply with international standards as far as doing business is concerned. People who do honest business would not have any qualms about providing their details. In business, everything is about trust and since you do not meet the party you are dealing online, you share the most basic components to gain the trust.

Besides if paypal ask for documentations, the vendor can show your address so that the payment does not look like money laundering, terrorist funding or illegal activities.

The more you try to hide your details, the more it looks like you are trying to engage in something sneaky, perhaps using stolen credit cards or trying to create a false dispute without getting the consequences of your actions.

I think moneybookers is much more safer than Paypal (for buyers AND sellers)
