I'm selling my services online, and tried to join some affiliate program. But like CJ, azoogle all charge a setup fee like $3000, and for a website like mine only has $100 budget per month, this is impossible. Can anybody suggest some affiliate programs without setup fee, and other fee like CJ and azoogle?
Any good network would or should never allow anyone on board without a setup fee or a deposit of money at first as if that happens then their affiliates could get sales and the merchant could not end up paying which would not look good to the affiliates plus it takes time for the affiliates to put links on their sites. I would also try an affiliate software solution, there are some alright priced ones on the web. Some affiliate software here infact. Good luck with your program.
I would advise just finding a software solution as I have done for my electronics affiliate program. It takes a little bit to set up, but in the end you have control and you do not have to spend those ridiculous fees. Good luck
I would suggest you to join Click2Sell affiliate network. It is free for affiliates and merchant has to pay only if he sells a product. Plus you get very good keywords, conversions reports, etc. Signup is also free. You have nothing to invest... Cheers! Regimantas
I'd be careful about free networks. You get what you pay for. The strong affiliates work with the better networks. Smart affiliates realize that the free networks tend to attract merchants who are just testing the waters and may not commit the resources to do it right or may bale as soon as commission checks are due. The free networks tend to have lots more fraud too. There are GREAT networks that are VERY low cost. But to get good affiliates, good network support, good marketing tools and good fraud control you have to pay something. Shareasale.com is my best recommendation and they are only 350 set up. Most of the good affiliates that are on CJ are on SAS too and some even prefer it.
Shareasale is really cheap to setup. Just think of the 350 as an investment. Punch in some numbers and you'll see how quickly you'll be able to make that 350 back up. Plus, wouldn't you want to invest 350 for growth?
