    Hi people.
Never really used PPC, always went organic.
ANy advice for me starting off, on how not to spend a fortune doing this.
My first day, the phones were busy, but was paying up to $9.00 a click!
    Shocked me a bit

read googles help section and getting started section, then come back for here for more details.

If you do not plan on managing your campaign, try outsourcing

Only advice is to try things and monitor the results, just started my first campaigns today and I'm seeing where they go (currently just using google's voucher money ;) )

    1.) What's your goal? Monetary/Timeframe/Budget?
    2.) What's your target ROI?

Pause your campaigns and answer those questions first.
