Any Advice On Google AdWords?

 Neck deep in a fact-finding mission on Google AdWords, I continue to see "some love it, some hate it".

Is there more positive than negative about using this as an advertising method? It looks to me like one of the traps is jumping into bidding on words without having done any research first.

I would love some feedback to clarify whether this is a way to go for advertising my Network Marketing business. I've read that it doesn't work very well for this type of business!?

Before you start, you should learn all about the Quality Scores, and how they affect your campaign.

If you understand this, then if your site and product/service is good, you should be able to make money.

Most of the problems that people have come from jumping in without learning how it works first - Adwords does NOT use a straight auction system.

I'd agree with Custard. I blew a lot of money years ago trying to get my small biz off the ground by using Adwords. It was nothing to have a $2k per month Google bill. Some months I barely made enough to pay Google!

Now I can run the same keywords with a higher CTR and conversion for about a quarter of the money. I let my competition buy the expensive junk keywords, they deserve it! LOL
