I am new in the field of web development, and currently building a meta search engine with some friends. visit the site at http://www.chitbit.com

Currently, the main trouble lies in popularising the site and make it more user friednly. So, if anyone having any idea of any good changes that could be made, or how to earn money from the site, especially how to go ahead with link exchange... Please POst...

Search engine based on Google API is not a search engine - don't mix them !

Friend, why don't you go for a full fledge directory based search engine. Its will give you complete control and you can also generate revenues from ads. Just a suggestion.

BTW, if you are interested, I do have a legal license of PowerSeek MySQL Script. More details at www.focalmedia.net. Let me know if you are interested.
