I used Kapersky,Mcafee and Norton for my 2 pcs and one laptop at various times.Norton before 2009 product was very resource hungry and not good at picking up some of the viruses. But 2009 version is very light and doing fine so far.Mcafee is intermediate in between Norton and Kapersky and not bad as far as the person is not risking with any torrent files and underground sites.
I will give Kapersky no 1 slot , Norton Internet security2009 second and Mcafee 3rd.

For me they are all the same because they work on same wrong principle:

In order for a virus, spy-ware to be recognized as a threat it must first be reported.

There are tons of undetectable viruses (I know this from personal experience - I have a friend in that business).
    I don't use anti virus, I use LINUX :)

I have voted for kaspersky since I had used it for a long long time...

The product is wonderful and takes care of most vulnerabilities that comes along with browsing...

    Avast Anti-Virus FTW!

    http://avast.com

There is a free and professional version. No Ads and it only asks you to re-register it every 14 months. Also includes a firewall for free and many stuff that Norton makes you pay for.

The best antivirus system is Nod32 in my opinion.

Google it get a bit of information on it.

But in my opinion this is the best.

Don't ever use Norton... Norton < Anything

Are you using Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 together with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009? Which of this do you much preferred? Why?

I think norton 2009 is the best. Because it has some special versions like gaming edition, which doesn't ask you to delete or update or something while you play and use minimum ram. In norton there is a feature named SONAR which makes norton best, it finds viruses from their behaviours, also if the viruses signature is not in its database, it can find and delete viruses. Some others have behavioral protection too but norton is the most reliable
