    I like it, I don't really scan that often.. if so, it's during the night.
    I do know that it has blocked everything from getting into my pc's and the only time I've had to format is my own user error..lol
    I used nod32 b4 I used kaspersky.. I would use something free before I would use the nortan hog..

    I hate kaspersky...When I started using it my pc slows down... When I remove it and install avast pro 'My God' theres a lot of virus in my pc. Now Im using free trial of trendmicro 2009. Unfortunately its free trial will end soon, I migth use avast again.

    I am satisfied with avast home edition and don't think we need to go for anything else too . Kaspersky is also good antivirus software .

    I dont like the Kaspersky update process as my HDD makes a scratchy sound that annoys me. But it will stop after some seconds.

    I voted other in the poll and that's because I believe that avast is better. It has an awesome and easy to find boot-scan feature that allows you to get crud running on your computer before it has a chance to even start up.

    It scan in about the same time as other programs out there but tends to be small on resources when doing so. I watch movies that are saved on my HD while it scans and it does not affect the video at all. I'm not running a super computer either, just a Celeron M processor with 2gb or ddr2 ram.
