antirelayd is used for POP-before-SMTP authentication.

Are you sending out mail from an e-mail application through this server?

    Are you using SMTP authentication?

If all of the e-mail users on the server that send out mail through the server are using SMTP authentication to authenticate themselves, then antirelayd is not needed.

antirelayd is just used to whitelist IPs that have checked valid POP or IMAP accounts on the server within the past 30 minutes or so, and enables them to send out mail through the server.

It's not really needed anymore because all cpanel servers are using SMTP authentication by default.
