Here. I'll give you one. A decorated vet of WWII. Loyal American. Beloved teacher of 1000's. His name was Jeff Corey. My teacher, a fine and honorable man who served his country selflessly, and a man possessed of a set of stones you will never have, as in the face of this apotheosis of hypocrisy, he stood by his honor. As a result, this American was Blacklisted for 12 years by McCarthy and his pointy-headed crew of lynch-masters. Why? Because he refused to even engage in the most un-American activity to worm its way into American soil, McCarthy's HUAC and its work.

Jewish-Americans were heavily focused upon and brought under McCarthy's knife (many of the founding members of the Group Theatre, for instance, were Jewish, and of these, many - to name but two, the "Titans" Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg - began their working life in the Yiddish Theatre of New York).
