You would think that almost 100% of the people of Iraq would have supported Bush before the US went to war with them then:)

Umm actually if you read alot of the history 'terrorism' would be more used by the people we now support in Iraq not the other way around.

Anyone fighting against the soldiers in Iraq is dubbed "al qeada" ... its propaganda. The reality is most of the fighters are coming from syria and other close countries to impose political rule for their own agenda, not al qeada.

Not to mention, the WMD discussion is PRE-WAR, not 2 years later.

Yes, and I have poisonous spiders in my basement.

However, I am killing these spiders -- not raising them for offensive warfare against my neighbors.

Do you see a difference between those two approaches?

Al Qaeda is just a useful name to give all of these hoodlums, because we honestly do not have a good organizational map of Islamic terrorism.

Once again, OBL is a lot smarter than American liberals. A well-designed terrorist organization will be highly decentralized. It will operate under many names and local leaders will effectively have complete autonomy.

(On a humorous note, have you read The Moon is a Harsh Mistress?)

Most of our opponents in Iraq are not Iraqi. They are from Al Qaeda affiliated organizations in Africa and the Middle East.

Those people are coming to Iraq to kill Iraqi's and Americans in order to prevent Iraq from becoming Westernized.

That's the game. Us vs. Them. The prize is the future of Iraq. Does it become a modern Western society or does it sink into the middle ages?

We should know the outcome in a few decades.

Yet our top terrorism experts on all sides in the US said this was total BS, from the CIA to the Terrorism Czar, hmm should I believe the experts who were the ones actually investigating this or this story? Or the hundreds of stories that disprove it?

On an even sader note to show how pathetic some are

The red rep I got, how about some of your own medicine if you're going to give red why not sign who it's from. I sign all my reps I give, what are you afraid of exactly?

Especially since the red was for my post http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=338504&postcount=90
in responce to http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=337226&postcount=35 which is apart of this thread and therefor totally valid!

Thanks for the red i'm giving you green for signing. Why might I ask the reason for the red though, simply because you can't disprove a point?
