It's BS to say that was the reason for war. If it was then why didn't Bush say that instead of saying how dangerous saddam is and how he is trying to rebuild nuclear facilities and make a bunch of lies up?

If it was really about CARING for other people's freedoms and liberties, there are FAR WORSE places we could be liberating... but those places don't have huge amounts of oil and are not strategically placed in the middle of the middleeast ;)

You've all inspired me to register "www.gogetemcowboy.com" as my new completely unbiased factual presentation of George Bush and all his lies :D

I'd like to send a special thanks out to Will, Zman, and Gtech, I couldn't of been motivated to start it without you guys! :)

And what would you do differently ferret?

Stop giving as much to help poverty? So Im guessing you do not like that Bush has given more to poverty than Clinton did? Im guessing you do not like that if it werent for the natural disasters, unemployment would be at an all time low?

Yeah bankrupt. That would explain why my income has quadrupled in the past 4 years. Man it sucks how bad our economy is doing doesnt it? I mean, I just cant handle all my investments doing so well for me. Goshdarn bankrupt Republicans.

Yeah ok. Im with you ferret.

    are you kidding?

I don't really know, but it could be that you used to make very litttle? or you are really rich now?

I havn't studied your personal income enought to really counter that one.

    Just FYI-

For the fourth year in a row, poverty in the U.S. has increased.

This means 37 million Americans are living on a pre-tax income of $19,350.

BTW- health care in this country is a joke! And the cost continues to rise at a ridiculous rate!

Very true! So what should we do about it? Obviously more money doesnt help.

Since it is apparent that you and I vote the opposite I thought that would be clear.

<sarcasm>Obviously giving the richest 1% of Americans tax cuts helps</sarcasm>

I sure hope you're making a lot, with the national deficit every full time working american currently owes over $300,000 just to break even. Since 37 million of them are making less than $20,000 a year, you have a lot to make up for :D

Just because I voted Repub the last time around doesnt make me Republican. Sorry to let you down. ;)

In a place like Reno a single person with some responsibility could live on that easily.

    $19,350 = $53/day ($1,612/month)

    Monthly costs: ( estimate )
    1 bedroom apt: $750
    Utilities: $150
    Food: $200
    Car payment: $200
    Car Insurace: $150
    ------------------
    $1,450 in just bills

That leaves less than $200/month for gas, clothes, household products, medical and dental costs, etc.

Don't even think about college loans or credit card debt.... or anything nice for that matter. With the president wishing to ban abortions, don't even think about adding a kid or two to the equation...

Looks like living in poverty is easy!!!

Iraq must have just looked great

    1) Liberate the iraqi people, create a middle east democracy and changed the world

    2) Give huge contracts to the defense and energy companies, that help support the administration

    3) Secure a huge supply of oil for future US needs,

    Its just a win-win-win situtation
