I'm sitll the dark about how, trying to find out what the chemicals really are, or showing probelems in reasons we went to war, is somehow supporting terrorists

Isn't the truth important, don't you want to know the truth?

Its so funny gtech wants to believe that there where WMD piles so bad, but when you point out that if there were WMD stockpiles, then we lost them , and basically screwed the whole orginal purpose of the war, to keep the wmds out of terrorist hands. He goes silent.

So Gtech which terrorist now have the WMDs and how has this made the US safer?

So now that we are in Iraq, how are we going to win the war?

Its mostly denfensive now isn't it? Do you think there is going to be a new stradegy that they are waiting to put in place which is going to change the tide?

Gworld, you quoted what I said and ignored the fact that I am not speaking oif CHEMICAL wmd.

I know nothing about chemical wmd so I am simply not going to try and debate it.

I simply said that IN MY OPINION, any weapon that can kill 80,000 is a weapon of MASS destruction.

We know you dont care about people dying, we know you dont care about innocent life, but can you please try and have some respect for the opinions of others?

Otherwise, you are just helping paint liberalism for exactly what it is.

Is ignorance, your defence for your postings?

No more discussion necessary, your little sister said the war is good, so why are we discussing it?

Really, I didn't know that. Did you figure this all by yourself or did Gtech helped you? YOU ARE WRONG.

if some one goes in a place and shoot 100,000 people with an assult rifle, it doesn't make the assult rifle a WMD. If a tank start shooting in to a city and kill 200,000, it doesn't make a tank a WMD.

WMD in different forms chemical, biological and nucleaar are defined by international treaties and not according to your opinion.

Actually proving that you know nothing about these subjects, does not give me any feelings of self importance, your statements are so ridiculous that even a child with common knowledge could prove your lack of logic and knowledge. :p

You haven't answered any of questions in my posting, is this because you have no answer? I suppose it is not as easy to actually discuss something instead of just being Gtech groupie. ;)

I didn't say I was right, I provided you with link to international treaties that you had no answer to.

    Like you said, whatever.

Just wait until Gtech comes back and then you can come back and be his favorite groupie. ;)

I agree with you on this and don't hold it against you. I personally think Saddam should have been taken out years ago. Maybe GWB went to war for all the right reasons, but played the WMD and terror card simply because he felt it would get the population on his side, this is possible. My main problem with it though however is again how we went about it.

Yes some terrorism, but some people who are actual Iraqi citizens. I look at it this way, no matter how much I hate a president if some other country invaded my country and killed innocent civilians no matter what I personally would take up arms against them, even if our president had to go. I realise this is a bit of a stretch Saddam vs the worst US president in history, but I do believe at least some of the fighters fighting the US troops are doing it for patriotic reasons even if it's only a few. I still do not side with them, but can imagine how it could further outrage patriotic citizens of the country when most of why we attacked them in the first place has been widely disproven.

I agree we can't leave now. I however must point out I know people that have served in Iraq and have heard different stories, much depends on what part of the country the troops are stationed in. Even in the revolutionary war there were people 'most of the country actually' still on the side of the British, regaurdless the reasons for a war within the home country people are going to take different sides just like we do in the US about the war :)

I myself am proud in her and wish her great success and safety :)

Yes it is, but as citizens of this country it is also our responsibility to call our government on issues we do not feel were done properly. To not say anything if you feel the government has errored is in my opinion more Unpatriotic than not supporting the troops. I however even though I don't agree with why we went to war support our troops 110%!

--edit after looking at the statement of being more unpatriotic than not supporting the troops not sure if that is worded correctly, I'm going to let it stand since that's how I did it but I hope you get my point.

Good post. Believe it or not, I actually agree with most of what you have posted here.

Good to see some open and civil discussion finally taking place.

That wasn't a good post - it was a great post. You voiced your opinion very well. You look at the situation from a different point of view and have come up with very good conclusion.

You also showed your support in what you believe is right along with your disdain for what you believe was wrong.

I will have to say I somewhat agree with your post, but I still don't think GWB lied, but may have gone on bad intel. I also believe that there has been a number of pieces of evidence that does support WMD being developed, but with no absolutes, since the reports are not shown through all forms of media. (I believe that many media outlets won't admit anything that may support bush unless they absolutely had to. LAME)

I would be in the dark to, if someone where trying to figure out what the chemicals were. That's not the case though. Was it you that tried to mislead by saying it was just a bunch of explosives? So the question back to you is:

Is this why, last month when we talked about the looting, you tried to dismiss it as test tubes? When called to point it out, you left and never responded?

No, I go into laughter mode! It's a catch22. Liberals can't have it one way (that wmd didn't exist - how does something it is looted not exist?) but have it the other way and blame Bush for not personally standing guard on the wmd in question! And I love it! You'll never see people try to take both sides of an issue more than the discussion!

Reports indicate a possibility they were moved to Syria, which is in what I posted that started all this. How about we invade Syria and find out?

How has it made us safer? Some might look at the history of attacks we endured in the previous administration that went virtually unchecked. Compare that to how many times we've been attacked since 9/11? How many times we've been attacked since the invasion of Iraq? Zero isn't enough for some ;)

You mean like when some numb nuts tries to compare chemical wmd to mouthwash?

But someone didn't. 13 al qaida members were arrested/charged for having chemical wmd that could take out 80,000 people. Your moral equivalence attempts just don't work ;) Is this what you would have al qaida's defense team present to the jury?

And definitely not according to your opinion! What's an al qaida terrorist gotta do to get some credit these days when gworld tries to take it all away from them?

In reality you are the only numb nut that can not understand chemicals can be used for different purposes.

How many people have been killed in the world by assault rifles and how many are getting killed even today? It still doesn't make an assault rifle a WMD.

But I understand that your stupid pride prevents you to admit that you are wrong even when everybody clearly can see that.

"Hazardous Materials are part of daily life. The last time you filled your gas tank did you consider you were actually pumping a hazardous material into your tank? When used properly hazardous materials are normally not a problem. But when used improperly, the results can be devastating. A spill of gasoline into a waterway is sure to take its toll on fish and wildlife.

Hazardous Materials are even in our homes. Drain cleaners, solvents, pesticides, paints, motor oil, dyes, and antifreeze to name a few, are all household hazardous materials. All these materials and more need to be used, stored, and disposed of in a safe and proper manner. When these products need to be disposed of they are considered a household hazardous waste. Improperly disposed of household hazardous waste causes many problems. For instance, City workers have been injured by the flames of mixed household hazardous waste which were improperly put in curb side trash bins. "

The latest supporter of terrorists: The San Bernardino City Fire Department

I provide links to my source that these materials are common chemical products, can you provide even one source that say these chemicals are WMD?

Provide one source that says Sulfuric Acid, Hydrogen prexoide are classified as WMD.

    gtech

its clear you don't care about the truth,

you are arguments basically boil down to "their was bad people so we invaded" and just say anything to justify it,

You found one Nytimes article that said some stuff, was looted, and an editorial were some guy says there was VX in jordan, and you hob that togather into proof that there was WMD stock piles, even thought pretty much the whole world says they didn't have shit

Dude I bought I new boat, I was out sport fishing off of key largo, please post the link to the article or whatever, because I am pretty sure, I just took sections out of it that you glossed over.

So what you are saying is we bombed , invaded a country with like 100,000 troops , and spent like 100 billion dollars and counting, and we just let the reason we are there slip over into syria?

Dude, that almost sounds unpatriotic. Why are you so critical of the forces in Iraq, that doesn't sound like supporting the troops.
