Some of the party continues to fracture away from full support of the president, the populace and politician alike. I for one 'used' to consider myself a republican pre Bush. Just like in football time left is not always a good thing, it can lead to even a larger defeat if you don't get your footing and quick. Please explain this one in plain english, or a post to why this is such a huge fact to make it a land slide. I've heard it over and over, debated it, and honestly see it as a twist of a few numbers to make it something it's not. If I'm an idiot I'll admit it, show me where it makes it a land slide and such a record breaker, as stating it makes it sound like Bush won the highest percentage gap ever between a candidiate which is where the real number lies for a 'land slide' ---edited much to some
lmao@that^ ned, "jesus" and "allah" and "budduh" and the rest of the retarded fucking religions are the cause of 75% of wars anyway. the other 25% goes to greed. i say blame jesus for the war ned!
Colleges and Universities often bring in non-degreed instructors, because they need subject matter experts. For example, I myself took college courses in Real Estate, Insurance, and Military Science. Were my instructors degreed? Of course not, but they knew their subject matter! To teach Kindergarten, you need a college degree. To teach in a University, you only need a clue. Having a degree is much more common than having a clue.
I don't think gworld has been to college. I base this quick guess on two pieces of data: 1. He obviously does not know how college and university systems work. 2. He can't spell college. Check his post.
umm will what are talking about teaching? They usually don't let people teach without a degree were these courses you speak of for credit, at a acredited college, some type of college workshop? Like those hey you can learn to send email, at this day class type things they advertise in the sunday paper?
Yep, normally I don't rip on typos either. We all make them. Just relishing in the irony of gworld trying to call Will on dropping out of school, yet can't spell college correctly. Back to LMAO now
You are incorrect, as you would well know if you had read the thread before posting. Noooo... There are these schools called Universities where these people whom we will call Students go for these 4.5 month periods called Semesters. They take these things called Classes and get these others things called Credits and if they collect enough of the right credits, they get another thing called a Degree. Some of these are schools are government run, like the university where I first taught. Others are privately run, like the last college where I taught. Get the picture furball?
Collin County Community College, Plano, Texas, 1994. Multimedia Associates Degree Program. I taught a semester course there. Would have taught longer, but the company I worked for was relocating to Colorado Springs and decided to move there. I've also been asked to teach at my local community college here in their multimedia program, but declined to do so.
One thing I hate more than the type of person that will say "I'm not a Replublican or a Democrat" is the one that says, "I was a Republican before..." It's total poppycock! Anyone saying that is playing mind games. Is it so hard to proudly proclaim, "I'm a Democrat", without having to first qualify the statement with bs by saying, well, I'm not a Democrat or a Repulican? What a crock. Yawn... There is no twist and no debate. It's called fact. I know, I know... It is hard to admit it. But no matter what way you look at it, numbers do not lie. It's ok man. I feel your pain. I had to deal with Clinton for 8 years. It was not the end of the world. Good idea. I doubt I could stand much more.
That does not surprise me in the least. After all, all you need to teach in any university is a clear complacent and sympathetic need to spread liberalism.
A crock that I used to be a republican and changed, wow that's some great logic. Because I'm far from a democrat perhaps? To explain this a bit further at the moment I do not consider myself either a republican or democrat, if I had to choose I would lean to a republican. I at the moment do not consider myself a member of either 'side' or 'party' Same from above. So you can't show how it makes such a big deal or land slide? I hated Clinton, so not going to be backing him up myself so don't know why you continue to bring him up?
Sure, we all typo. But who proof reads. That is where the difference is. Taking the time to actually check over your work and insure that your thoughts are conveyed in an intelligent manor is where the problem is. I am under the impression that some people tend to just ramble off their anger in a post without having the courtesy and respect to proof read their work. Shawn, VB really needs a spell checker
Spell checker is an excellent idea. But as far as typos and anger go, anyone who has seriously been in this thread from what I've witnessed is guilty of it, including myself.
That statement just proved my point. Nuff said on that subject. Hmmm, I did not "hate" Clinton. I did not like his policy decisions, lack of foreign policy and lax stance on terrorism, but I certainly did not hate him. How can I back up a number? How can I back up a fact? I really can't. There is nothing to back up when a fact is presented. I only bring up Clinton as a cross comparison between the most recent of Presidents vs. the present President. I guess I do not see the world as worse off as many do. When people talk about the US being worse off, I wonder, worse off than what? The previous adminstration? That's why.
Agreed, on the spell checker point. As far as anger? I'm not angry. I'm quite content actually. Heated at times, perhaps, but never angry on this subject.
Proved your point how exactly that you were incorrect? Show my why it's a big deal and how it makes a land slide? To me it's obvious more voters, higher voter turn out, etc the winner is going to make a record no matter the gap between the two. I fail to see how this makes a land slide, the only thing I see it as is 'twisting' or for better words embelishing what it actually means.
