    Did you really pass high school? Can you read? :confused:

    I live in the U.S., if i hated it, I would have left a long time ago. I have a firm belief that things will only get better if we recognize what we do wrong.

    Instead of making excuses for Governments Lies, George Bush being a moron and what the United States has done wrong in the past and currently I acknowledge our mistakes and our wrong doings.

    Some of you would like to believe we're perfect, but we're not. I guess next you're going to tell me black people should thank us for bringing them over to the U.S. And native americans should be thankful they can have casinos :rolleyes:

    What is everyones stance on this one? Off subject but again curious.

    I personally have no problem with them having them on reservations, and actually support them doing almost what they want to on the reservations but do not agree when they open them up anywhere they please while others can not as well.

    How is the telling the truth about history and what happened is hating USA or supporting terrorists? :confused:

    It seems you need the lies in order to justify your opinions and anybody who tells the truth becomes your enemy. :rolleyes:

    YOYO, I have yet to see you as giving constructive criticizm, just blatant attacks about Bush, those who voted for bush, the republicans, christians, etc... You have done a lot of bashing on one side but not against the other, so then you sound like gworld who seems to just hate everything about the USA and keeps trying to pretend he doesn't.

    Our gov't does have corruption in many places. But for some reason I doubt that you would agree when it comes to Clinton or guys like ted kennedy?? I feel there is less corruption under Bush, even companies like enron have been caught since Bush came into power. Yet people point the finger at bush FOR enron - go figure?? How many companies where busted while clinton was in the white house?

    There's not a lot of constructive criticism to give when talking about the Iraq war, other than to stop uneccessary deaths we should stop tactics like "cluster bombs"...

    When 9/10 people are on one side I'm most likely taking the other, would this have been interesting otherwise? I shouldn't need to sit here and praise the good U.S. has done, that's not going to solve problems or stop future problems.

    I've already stated in this very thread that I know very little about Clinton, nor have I ever been "political" before Bush went to Iraq. So please stop labeling me this or that. I don't even know the sides taken by liberal/republican/democrat/this or that/ on the majority of all issues, I just know my own side. ;)

    I understand your confusion. How does one pass high school? My kids graduated. One passes the GED. Perhaps you are studying to pass yours?

    What wouldn't you use to sell out your country? Recognize the bad, even when it isn't true. As long as it's self-loathing. You have a low self-esteem.

    Especially when they are completely wrong and have no factual basis. But then what wouldn't you do to sell out your country? Hey everyone, look at me!!! I'm noble and patriotic because I'll sell my country out, even when it's not true. Ever heard of Benedict Arnold?

    It strikes me as "alarming" that this current administration is lobbying Congress for the right to torture and abuse prisoners...threatening a veto of the military funding bill if this allowance is not given. whiskey-tango-foxtrot, over.....

    Is this how America operates now? The purposeful attack and subsequent professional demolition of the WTC towers, the Pentagon farce, the shooting down of the plane over Pennsylvania... all to justify war and stir up nationalism. War is BIG business, and saved Halliburton from bankruptcy (thx Dick!). False flag operations that include MI6, CIA, FBI, Mossad, and Pakistani ISI, each with a role for the "powers that be".

    We march into Afghanistan to find Osama, though Osama and his friends are on our payroll and have been since the Soviet Union was there. We will never ever kill Osama or capture him, he is not the real enemy and he's worth more, to the Bush administration, being alive. Nobody mentions the huge natural gas pipeline American corporations wanted to run across that country from Uzbekistan. Taliban said no. This was worth hundreds of billions of dollars and NO wasn't the correct answer. So, war on.

    Iraq: most logical people realize already we were lied to in the current administration's attempt to justify invading and taking over the world's 2nd largest oil reserve. (PEAK oil, look it up) This was planned since the 90's by hawks and neocons. We destroy the country so Halliburton et al can fix it, and they aren't fixing it but getting paid to do so. We kill and bomb with impunity, send disguised agents out with machine guns and car bombs to induce outrage by killing civilians and create chaos. Why would Iraqi "insurgents" kill their own people? Who benefits? Their enemy is us.
    We make up a boogeyman to put a face on the enemy, like Osama and nine-one-one. We pick a one-legged, dead man named Zarqawi and make him responsible for everything that happens. The dead American soldier's are not counted unless the die on the ground, dying from injuries on a plane to Germany doesn't count. The actual number of American casualties likely exceeds 10,000....history will acknowledge this someday. Still no WMD's, still no freedom and liberty.

    How about the Patriot Act (I and II)? How many people know what this actually does? Habeus Corpus is dead now. American citizens can now be held without charge, indefinitely, without legal counsel or notification to family and relatives. Jose Padilla hasn't been charged with anything, he's an American citizen...still in a military prison. Search warrants are a thing of the past. Don't be so sure that these powers won't be abused...their presence invites abuse and the right circumstances will warrant abuse.

    Since the coup-d'etat of 2000, this country has turned to sh** in every way. Our standing in the world has suffered. The American people are fed with lies daily by the fickle, schizophrenic, and complicit media who have no time for journalism. Many people don't want to know, but rather like their little world just as it is. To these sheeple, I say wake the hell up and smell the fascism.

    Patriotism is not love of government; nor is it blind support for whatever they do here and abroad. Patriotism is simply love of country and the will to defend it and it's ideals from subjugation and harm; while nationalism is based on pride and arrogance. The American government has been hijacked by elitist, cowardly, warmongers and thieves. In no way is it "Republican".

    Nazi Germany was the template and trial-run for all of this. Similarities are uncanny. We're being set up for something, much like Germans in the 1930's. You heard it here first.

    Conspiracy theory? Damn I wish it so.
