Really? Where did you get that "eye for an eye" philosophy? You're obviously not a Christian.

So HodgedUp was correct, Texas doesn't kill children in the name of God. Nice work!

Yes I am. From what I think of how Texas has it though I do not think I would be in support of how they have it exactly, I however do not live in Texas and Texas as a sovereign state is free to rule within the constitution. I do see how it could be argued though of some possible rights violations of the US constitution but I'm way to tired to get into that.

    Yup.

Way to not discuss the issue again. You present one quote. Yeah this is Texas killing children in the name of God. I can't believe that you can't see how laughably thin any argument you make is.

You present, 0 quotes, 0 evidence. I've already quoted facts that judge's in Texas believe they're doing god's work. I've also shown they execute juveniles that were abused their entire lives.

What more do i have to prove?

If by your reasoning I'm not a Christian then I can't kill children in the name of God.

No true Christian would support the death penalty. Of course, most Christians are phonies. They only "believe" in the parts that are convenient.

    Matthew
5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Is there a reason you are focusing on Texas? Just having a view at Arizona right now myself.

Look 2 Texas websites where no children were killed in the name of God.

    http://www.state.tx.us/

    http://www.fortworthgov.org/

How many more do you want?

    by Sam Houston

See there's a quote about not killing children in God's name

You quoted one judge saying he thought giving the man the death penalty was doing God's work. Glad to see that you think such evidence is really irrefutable.

Did he say "I love killing me some kids cuz that's what God wants"?

We're mainly focusing on Texas since they execute more than half of the nations total number....

I would gladly include every state that has the death penalty.

I'm pretty certain you are, just want it on record to make certain. Are you against the death penalty in all cases no matter the case or evidence?

Primarily yes, but I leave my official stance open-minded to change.

For one, killing a person, no matter what they're guilty of can only satisfy emotions, it does nothing (or at least very minimal amounts) to discourage further crime.

Considering the amount of racism, bias, and unfair practices such as uncompetent defense teams, and the expenses the death penalty simply is wrong. Over 100 people have been found innocent after being put on death row alone!

If there's room for error that 1 innocent person could be executed, I'll never support it.

I don't know why you point out the state I live in, as if it meant I have some loyalty to Arizona. I wasn't born or raised here and I agree Arizona has some really stupid laws.
