More important work than defending a terrorist? Hmm, wonder what would be more important than defending terrorists? Are you trying to quietly say you were actually conducting terrorist operations? P.S. I was not a cook in the military, but I cook some mean Mexican food at home
Yea, that's why Bush just put a copy of the "death to infidels" book, the quran, in the whitehouse. That, coupled with "islam is a religion of peace" he keeps touting is almost enough for me to give up on Bush all together.
Thank you for sharing your opinion, however although I am against how the war was waged and how we got there I do not agree with what you've said. Maybe Bush doesn't like Muslims, maybe he does I honestly do not know and am not about to accuse him of such. We the US did support Saddam and may be responsible in some form for much of what had happened, but I do not think we had 'no reason' to invade, I do agree however the reasons given were not 'true' or reason to.
But be realistic, that's for 'pc' purposes, doesn't state his own actual beliefs on the matter. He may hate em, he may love em, doubt we will ever know for sure. Wow I'm almost backing up Bush again, doesn't happen often but it does.
the reason i'm saying he hates america is obvious because in all his speaches he associates the word "muslim" or "islam" with the word "terrorist" before you judge the quran or the religion of islam go please feel free and read the quran and its teachings. Understand it for yourself. Bush also got all the media associating those words and now everyone thinks if ur a muslim then you believe in blowing yourself up and killing people and being a terrorist. In fact the religions of judaism cristianity and islam are all the same. The only major difference is that cristians believe jesus is the son of god or some believe he is god while muslims just believe he was a prophet. So if anyone makes fun of the religion of islam there making fun of their own religion if it is jewish or cristian.
The problem with a corporal is that they think they know everything about military strategies and military can not survive without them. What I am suggesting is not defending terrorism but how to defeat terrorism as it has been suggested by many in USA intelligence community. Unfortunately the politicians who are in power in USA have no military experience and can only think about what is good for them in short run while being cheered by the former corporals in the society, instead of listing to professional soldiers and intelligent officers. Your country has many highly qualified officers that can win this war but your government is not giving them a chance and they are only asked to go and die in a meaningless war that is run by incompetent politicians.
I have, and I know what it says. It's not a pretty picture. I doubt it's America he hates. Funny you see the opposite. He's always talking about how islam is about peace. Yes, hrb, I know it's for "pc" purposes. There's absolutely NO WAY he can say that and actually believe it. He knows...
A lot of Iraqis with purple fingers would disagree with you. But of course, your opinion isn't important to me anyway
Go to any kindergarten and you will see a lot of children with purple, yellow and red fingers but in real world it doesn't change anything. The same people voted in the last election for Saddam, I think he got about 98-99% of votes and they will vote for the next asshole who is in the power and have his guns on them.
So maybe we need to help them get educated enough to where they make a good choice without feeling intimidated.
Mike are you for real? I think is very hard not to be intimidated when you have someone with a gun over your head, I like to see you try not to be intimidated in that situation.
I agree, but we must have them freed as a society so that their kids can grow up secure and comfortable enough so that they don't compromise their opinions out of fear. If someone tried to take over Canada, wouldn't you fight for your rights? Why? Because you know better. You know what it feels like to be in a free society. People there don't. But the next generation has a chance. We need to eliminate the forces used against them. Dictators are a bunch of hot air and weapons. The people always have the power, they just don't always know how to use it.
Mike, Please tell me you are not for real. I can disagree with many things that my government does and I have many American friends (Usaually stay in USA 3-4 month/year) but I would not hesitate to defened my country for a minute if we are attacked by USA. What makes you believe that anyone will be happy to be occupied by USA? Do you even know the people who are in power in Iraq right now? People who were involved in bank fraud, oil smuggling and working for Iranian secret service. How is it to be free when you are occupied by foreign military force?
First off: America would never attack Canada. What would be the reason? We are not trying to get into other countries' business unless we have to. Occupying Iraq by military force is still a better temporary solution than having the old regime in power and no hope for change. My ancestors have been oppressed in Europe and oppression is a terrible thing, the loss of power and the loss of hope being in the hands of a dictator who doesn't care about your well being. It may take a few years for things to settle, but I do believe that Iraq has a chance to become a democracy and a free society, free from the mindset put upon those people by a selfish religion being used by dictators to controll them. I don't like what is going on in Iraq, but would it be better to leave things as they were? I don't think so. We need to take away the power from those who think they can intimidate and brainwash the public.
Mike are you for real??? 98% of the people wanted Saddam to rule with an iron fist. They loved it. And when the U.S. attacks Canada for its.... its... ummm the oil they don't tell us about.... gworld will fight if U.S. attacks but not anyone else.. how interesting... (Don't leave yourself so open. When throwing a punch with your left, block with your right.)
I love how Gtech had nothing to say about the real life examples of our freedoms being stripped away, they sure shut him up on the subject So now Mr Gtech, we have citizens (everyday innocent people, NOT TERRORISTS) being unlawfully spied on and even PYSHICALLY SEARCHED. If thats not a violation of freedom then what the hell is????
Mike; I think you are more brain washed that Iraqis. 1- Saddam was not a religious person, he only became religious in the last few years to improve his political base after pressure from USA. He was an asshole and a killer but he was not religious. 2- Iraq constitution was not religious and it gave women much more freedom than new constitution. 3- New Iraq constitution is based on religious which is Islam. 4- The new president is a big Kurdish land owner who has no interest in welfare of people working on his farm lands. He was involved in smuggling oil and he was fighting with other Kurdish leader over income from smuggling oil. He also was or is an agent of Iranian secret service. How are you going to free mindset of people from so called selfish religion? Give them a choice to become Christians or shoot them?
You are not reading Gtech's posts and I have to defend him in this particular case. He does not say that freedom or democracy is good, he is saying exactly the opposite. He is a fascist that believes in superiority of government over individual and absolute power of government. Patriot act is exactly what he desires as a from of government. Your should ask Mike, debunk or Zman, why they are not saying anything about this since on one side they mention that they want democracy while on the other hand, have no problem with government taking away their constitutional rights.
When did Irak last experience democracy? They are not used to it, they don't know it actually. That's why they don't really know how to handle it and use it. The allies are giving them a chance, not for charity, but a democratic free world is a safer world, that's the real interests for the UK-US-AUS-ITA-JAP-POL-SPA(ooops, no spaniards over there anymore! , they thought it would be wise to let the others do the job and suffer the inevitable, casualties, the victims of the london bombings are direct victims of the islamic terrorists but indirect vistims of the Spanish attitude chosen by a leftist government). Of course there's oil there, nobody would spit on it, they are just making sure it's not wasted too much.
