lol... ok ok. Back to email. Install it then. That's so bad, you need to respect your machine and accept that no matter how smart you are, bad things can happen to any machine.
Yeah, when your machine has ETD's, you'll know it. If I visit you, I will not let you near my machine, I don't want to risk you disabling my protection!
It'll be love at first time.. my lil laptop gazin over at your laptop, whispering sweet beeps.... flirting with it's CPU
I think mine is better looking. I am pretty proud of it's beauty, but no amount of convincing will have me disable protection. Vacant rooms where? I think we have to share one room.
How do you know it's male lol Sorry, I've taken over another thread - I got a grey neg for doing this last night :|
wwhhomes, I don't think it's negative, I think you only get neutral in GC now no matter what they give you, it's always grey. Because it's not pretty like mine.
Ohhhh it's whhomes now is it lol Ah well it had no comments, so I'm going on the consensus that it was negative lol
I figure if I address you as Darren, people may not know who I am talking to. In person shall I call you wwhhomes too?? lol. I get them like that in GC too, no way to know if they're red/green.
wwhhomes, anti virus protection doesn't just protect you, it protects everyone on your network and everyone you share files or email with. Not being protected on a computer that has access to the Net is just plain foolish. Yes, this is the kind of post I was referring to. But this goes on to some confusion about what was meant by an anti virus program being supplemental. I think the poster meant as a stand alone security measure that did not include firewall, spyware detection, etc. Of course, most of us know that AV is not the only security measure a computer should have. Unfortunately, there are far too many people like wwhhomes that take security matters too lightly. Or maybe it was just an excuse to flirt with Colleen. It may have been worth a snicker and a giggle the first couple of posts, but it did divert an important topic. I hope the two of you can try to curtail the off-topic posts. Thanks, Grump
They might beable to, I myself though can not...It's a mental disorder, try not to let it bug you to much
Was trying to stay on topic Grump, trying to explain to wwhhomes how important it is to be protected.
That's true. But I warn you: If you're right one more time, I'm gonna red rep you for being a smart ass... It might also be worth lightening up just a little... this is "General Chat" after all... thread-jacking in General Chat is the whole purpose of General Chat. And as a newcomer to the forum, you might want to wait a while before giving orders to forum members. I think the rule is you have to have at least 100 posts before you can do that... unless you look good in a skirt or a bikini...
Grump brings up a good point. It's not just important to protect your computer for yourself. It's important to protect your computer for others as well. If the virus lands on your computer and you're protected, it stops there. If you aren't protected, it is passed on, like a human virus and the chain continues to grow.
