Anti-Spam for Directories?

    I notice several complaints about spam submissions to directories. I have done a lot of work on anti-spam for email. Would a project aimed at directories be welcomed and useful?

    It would be a simple matter to ferret out some of the most obvious spam from existing sources. But, it would be interesting to establish some kind of spam registry for directories. Maybe a directory of spam:D

    You cannot stop spam it will remain till net is there

    PHP Link Directory 3.0 now offers both IP banning and domain banning, as well as an improved captcha. Spamming your directory is more difficult now. :)
