I think its sort of a marriage of convenience as i believe(someone correct me if im wrong) that isreal must be in the hands of the jewish people for their interpretation of jesus christ coming back to earth. This is mostly fundamentalist christians and fundamentalist catholics. Me being a moderate catholic, i was always told that revelations was never meant to be interpreted literally.
