Probably true, or else the webmasters can comply with the law and remove copyrighted stuff, and still share files..

Torrent sites and P2P's will be banned from the internet altogether very soon causing a tight policing of the internet. TPB will really be the cause because they are attracting very negative attention towards this type of filesharing with their arrogance and torrent policy.

If it's not yours just remove it and keep moving. I do not like the we are God type attitude they portray to have over other peoples creations. It's like they are just sucking the talent, energy, and creativity right out of the U.S. and other countries and trapping it in their portals.

I understand the U.S. does not govern Sweden and many other countries
that allow P2p's , but all of the creativity and talent is coming from here in the U.S. and we are a leader of entertainnment everywhere. If they want to use/steal our entertainment from our artists and companies, we should block those sites from being seen in this country and its allied countries altogether.

OH man that's really gonna suck!

I myself use P2P to test out whether I like and need a particular program.

I know most companies have a 30 day trial, but that just isn't enough time sometimes to properly test a piece of software.

I got Adobe CS3 & SONAR 7 through P2P, used it for 90 days & then decided to purchase both packages CS3 was over $2,000 and SONAR was $1,000 for the Producer Edition!

In my opinion, one of the best purchases I've made this year!

I also agree that these new "restrictions" will subdue the talent of wonderful programmers.

It should be interesting to see how this will affect the marketplace.

    Later,

I have mixed opinions too, on one side I definitly want to protect the owners of copyright, but on the other side: try before you buy is also important for client. wonder why there is so little: lease before you buy ... can't be that bad of a business model, except ofcourse ... when the quality is lacking
