As i have open my facebook account, i was wondering why almost of my facebook profile pictures are black. i thought at first their might be some problems in their network. But as i have read their posts then i knew that it was because of the new law which to be formally started on wednesday (oct 3,2012). facebook users use the color black to be their profile as a sign that they are anti with the said law. and they claimed that what is the use of democracy in their country. the law is about giving consequences of having a fine between P50,000 to P1,000,000 or even more ,and a term of one month up to 12 years imprisonment. this law is designed for those who are guilty in hacking, identity theft, illegal access, spamming, cyber-squating, online libel, and online child pornography.
