    Obviously not the genius move I thought it was - someone had bid £1 as well.

    lol I wonder if the person who bought it would be legally bound to pay the mans debts if he won the auction.

    I'm sure eBay has a hard time monitoring all these crazy auctions. :)

    lol, well debt sales is big business... just it is usually the rights to collect not pay that are sold.
