    i like it,the logo is nice,i love the pixel font in the description,i just think that the logo should be bigger

    ok... the design is a bit bland, the colors are a bit too similar, so you (or your friend) could give it more impact with a bit more contrast between the light colors and the dark colors. but in general the design is good.

    my other comment would be about the forums, you have some activity, which is encouraging, but not enough, which is very bad. it turns people off, potential users worry that they will never get a response, etc.

    the way to fix this is to cut down on the the number of forums - don't separate everything off into two dozen topics yet.

    a lot of people starting out make this mistake. they assume that because successful sites like digitalpoint have five score forums and even more subforums, they should also start off with a large number of forums and subforums. this is wrong. you start off with a few, only a few, maybe 2-3, or 4-5. then, later, when you get so much activity (threads) in one forum that you can't handle it, that's when you start splitting it into sub-forums.
